Baring Private Equity International (“BPEP International”) is a private equity group comprised of affiliated firms in Asia, India, Latin America and Russia/CIS, owned by local partners of each regional firm.
The funds of BPEP International represent over $3.5 billion in capital commitments and the organization has one of the most extensive on-the-ground networks of any international private equity group.
Through their alliance with BPEP International, the regional companies and their respective professionals operate within a set of common standards of governance, compliance, investment processes and reporting. Investment decisions and operational duties, however, are the direct responsibility of the local teams. Senior partners from different regions continue to serve on the investment committees of other BPEP funds, helping to facilitate exchange of information and knowledge about industries and specific businesses.
